Tia
The award-winning Tia data collection, visualisation and collaboration features open a window to your network.
Our tools passively record the entire traffic of a network. This is done via either a monitoring port on a switch or a hardware Ethernet tap. This data is then indexed by our probe software for fast search and retrieval, and optionally made available over the network in a secure manner to our "Tia" supervisor software.
Tia, which is usually run on a remote client, allows for a high-level analysis of the captured traffic by generating both tabular views of network flows as well as intuitive visualisations. It is neither a real time network monitoring system, nor an intrusion detection and alerting system like Nagios or Snort, but rather a tool for subsequent analysis of the previously captured traffic.
What sets us apart from other vendors, in addition to our intuitive visualisations, is the integrated collaborative features. The collaborative platform is a focal point for network operators, vendors and consultants. It is our goal to simplify the documentation and communication of all aspects related to a network, using 21st century technology. We aim for a seamless integration of network traffic analysis, documentation and organisational skill management. Meanwhile this available to all included in this collaboration environment. Of course it is also possible to analyse the data as it is captured.
Tia at Your Service
Picture: Tia is for people who want the job done. It's simple, concise and yet attractive which equals powerful.
Tia Visualises It for You
Picture: Tia does not merely produce attractive visualisations, it allows you to work with these visualisations in various ways to find the 'needle in the haystack'.
Tia Integrates to Your Documentation
Picture: With Tia's collaboration features, network documentation can now be an integral part of traffic investigation.
Tia Clarifies Your Network
Picture: Innovative visualisations clarify in a crisp manner what happens and where.
Bottomless Cookie Jar Licence
To match our clients needs we have created a great licensing option. Bottomless Cookie Jar Licence means that a predefined number of users can reserve a cookie (or a day-licence) from Clarified's Collab Platform to use Tia. This cookie gives access to Tia for a day (24h) and there is no limit to how many cookies people can reserve. At the end of the year, we will review how many cookies have been taken and adjust the next annual licence fee accordingly. This way, Tia users will truly pay for what they use.
Tools that Integrate with Tia
Wireshark is a good tool to dismantle network packets. Unfortunately getting to the point where drilling down to the detailed packet information is usually laborious. Or was, since today you can just export packets from Tia to Wireshark when necessary. No more complicated filter rules, no more struggling to get Wireshark analyse too much information. |

Add your antivirus scanner, firewall alerter etc. here |
If necessary, we can provide you customisations that either bookmark information for Tia (alerts, scanners, events), or receive information pre-processed by Tia software (specialised packet information analysers / dissecting tools). |
Collab Platform Enables Collaboration
The lack of details makes problem solving and reporting slow and painful. Typically information is shared using email in a peer to peer -like manner between two experts. Organisational knowledge is not preserved nor distributed throughout the organisation. The purpose of Collab Platform is to present a systematic method for collaborative problem solving and reporting. The platform can be used for document management and for information sharing both internally and externally. Tight integration with debugging and reporting tools (for example our high end analyser Tia) make information sharing easy. Wiki-based environment enables the possibility to perfect the available data in collaboration between different specialists, whether they are the partners or vendors, whoever you chose to include in your ACL. The information will be up to date, accurate and easily accessible to all relevant parties.
Tools That Integrate with the Collab Platform
MoinMoin is one of the basic building blocks of our platform. It allows collaborative editing, version control and other features that make working with documents fast and simple yet effective at the same time. |
|
We love GraphingWiki as it spices MoinMoin with semantic relationships. This enables a lot of cool stuff like social networking, which is really relevant for today's ICT world. |
|
Nessus is a widely used vulnerability scanner. Nessus results will gain a whole new level when integrated to our Collab Platform. |
|
Office |
We finally found a way to live with Office documents. Office documents have always lacked the real collaboration features. It has been such a relief for many projects to be able to start working together with documents, instead of the traditional email attachment game. We are really happy to announce that .doc has gone collaborative. |
After we have analysed your critical network interfaces with TrafficAudit the next logical step is to carry out security testing. Codenomicon's DEFENSICS is the most effective security testing tool in the market, so it is the most obvious weapon of choice for security robustness assurance. DEFENSICS also works seamlessly with the Collab Platform, so it nicely benefits any Collab Platform compatible network management solution. |
Some General Things We Like to Toy Around With
Whoops, now the word is out. One of our secrets behind Clarified's rapid and cost-efficient development is the fact that we've been using Python since day one. We made the decision to develop impressive, visual and fast applications by using Python. |
|
Qt is great! It's intuitive, pretty and works nicely on different platforms. Long live the Trolls |
